Sometimes we underestimate the power that lies in simply…being kind.

“Your kindness leads me to repentance: is a line in the song “You Are Good.”  this is referring to the kindness of the Lord and how it leads us to repentance.

In Colossians 3:12, we are told to put on therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering.

Ephesians 4:32 instructs us to be kind, and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1 John 2:5, 6 tells us to walk as Christ walked, But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily in the Love of God perfected hereby know we that we are in Him.  He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Once again, in 1 Peter 2:21 we are told to walk in His steps.  For even there unto were ye called; because Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example, that ye should follow in His steps.

Now–Here’s the take away…

If Jesus abides in us and we are walking Christlike, then our kindness can help lead others to repentance and REPENTANCE = SOULS WON!
